About Us

The company was formed in 2003 by Mike Aubrey, after spending 5 years working on the process, the idea came from a fisherman friend who purchased worms for fishing which arrived in papier mache and a Birmingham solicitor who had a problem disposing securely, out of date archives. Enviroshred was formed to provide companies and organisations with a method of securely disposing of confidential documents in an environmentally friendly way.

Now instead of producing harmful CO2 or methane gases, your confidential archives can be processed to produce rich, high quality compost. Based at Kingsland, Herefordshire, Enviroshred is committed to providing a top quality, environmentally friendly, secure and sustainable document destruction service.

In December 2007 the Enviroshred operations moved to Titley, near Kington to a new purpose built site to cope with the ever growing demand for our service.
